Terms of Use.

1 Acceptance of Terms

By using an EcoUmbrix station, the user agrees to these Terms of Use without reservation.

2 Service Description

EcoUmbrix provides a self-service umbrella rental system accessible through electronic payment.

3 Rental Conditions

• The rental fee is $2 per use (or as displayed on the station).
• The rental duration is flexible.
• The user may return the umbrella at any compatible EcoUmbrix station.

4 Non-Return and Fees

If the umbrella is not returned within a reasonable period:

• Additional fees may apply.
• The maximum charge is capped at $25.
• Once the maximum charge is reached, ownership of the umbrella is transferred to the user.

5 Proper Use of Equipment

The user agrees to:

• Use the umbrella in a normal and responsible manner.
• Not intentionally damage the equipment.
• Not modify, tamper with, or alter the umbrella or station.

6 Liability

EcoUmbrix shall not be held liable for:

• Any injuries related to the use of the umbrella.
• Damages caused by weather conditions.
• Loss or theft of the umbrella after rental.

7 Payment Terms

• All payments are processed electronically.
• The user authorizes EcoUmbrix to charge all applicable fees.
• In case of payment failure, EcoUmbrix reserves the right to recover any outstanding amounts.

8 Personal Data

EcoUmbrix may collect data necessary for the operation of the service, including:

• Payment information.
• Usage data.

All data is processed in accordance with applicable privacy and data protection laws.

9 Environmental Commitment

EcoUmbrix is committed to allocating 10% of revenue from each rental to plastic recovery initiatives, including partnerships such as Plastic Bank. Environmental impact figures are estimates and may vary.

10 Service Availability

EcoUmbrix does not guarantee:

• Continuous availability of stations.
• Uninterrupted service.

11 Modifications to Terms

EcoUmbrix reserves the right to modify these Terms at any time. The applicable Terms are those in effect at the time of use.

12 Suspension or Termination of Access

EcoUmbrix may restrict or terminate access to the service in cases of:

• Misuse.
• Fraud.
• Violation of these Terms.

13 Governing Law

These Terms are governed by the laws of the Province of Quebec, Canada.
